Alley Cats Entertainment & ZingerZ Comedy Club Join Together for Big Family Fun

 

Arlington, TX:  Alley Cats Entertainment, Arlington’s premier 40,000 square foot Family Entertainment Center, is partnering with ZingerZ Comedy Club, Tarrant County’s only Family-Friendly Comedy Club, to provide the Best in Family Fun and Entertainment to the DFW Metroplex.  Starting on Saturday, July 24th, Zingerz Comedy Club’s new “home stage” will be located inside Alley Cats Entertainment, Arlington.  Zingerz’ weekly Clean Improv Comedy show, an interactive comedy experience similar to the hit TV series “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, will initially take place every Saturday at 7:00pm.  Comedy club guests will also be able to enjoy dinner, drinks and tasty treats during the show from Alley Cats’ Quick Bite kitchen.  

 

On the recent partnership announcement, ZingerZ Comedy Club’s owner, Roy Allen, said, “The joining of Zingerz and Alley Cats will allow us to deliver a Full Night of Family Entertainment, providing fun activities, a funny show and a delicious dinner all in one place!  I’m truly excited about being able to add our unique interactive comedy show to all the amazing attractions that Alley Cats offers.  This is a partnership made for fun.” 

 

July 24th also marks Zingerz Comedy Club’s grand re-opening after their 15 month temporary closure due to the pandemic.  “Being able to re-open at Alley Cats, a venue known for their dedication to quality family entertainment, is such an amazing opportunity, and a blessing.” stated Roy.  “We share the same values when it comes to wholesome family fun and I know that this partnership will be a win-win for everyone involved… ZingerZ, Alley Cats and, most importantly, all of our guests!”

ARLINGTON, TX - ZingerZ Comedy Club, an independent family friendly improv comedy club, is re-opening to the public with a Special ONE NIGHT Show after being shuttered, exactly one year ago, due to the COVID pandemic.  As part of their re-opening, ZingerZ Comedy Club will make history by becoming the first entertainment venue in the United States where guests can enjoy unlimited concessions, with their new UNLIMITED CONCESSIONS PASS.  

 

“We are thrilled to be able to do live shows again and help provide people with some much needed laughs; especially after the year we’ve all just experienced” Roy Allen, owner of ZingerZ Comedy Club said.  “I’m also excited about our new ticketing and concession offerings, which will enhance each of our guest’s comedy-going experience here at ZingerZ.”  ZingerZ Comedy Club will officially re-open for their first post-pandemic in-person Clean Improv Comedy Show on Saturday, March 13th at 6:30pm (show starts at 7pm).  ZingerZ has been providing laughs to people of all ages for over five years now (the last year through their weekly “Live @ Five” free virtual shows), with their 2021 re-opening marking their sixth year of bringing family friendly laughs to the people of North Texas.

 

As part of their re-opening, ZingerZ’ ticket prices now include “2 concession items of your choice” to be enjoyed during the show.  For those who want to Laugh On & Snack On, there’s ZingerZ’ new UNLIMITED CONCESSIONS PASS.  This “first of its kind” add-on allows guests to enjoy an unlimited number of concessions (3 items at a time) during the show.

 

“Although the lifting of the mask mandate is what’s allowing us the ability to re-open, there will still be many ‘Laugh Safe’ policies in place to make sure everyone can have a fun and safe experience here at ZingerZ” stated Roy Allen.  “Masks will not be required to attend the show, however our guests are more than welcome to wear one during their visit if they would like.”  Mr. Allen also noted that “Seating levels will also remain below 100% capacity so our guests will not be shoulder-to-shoulder”.  Additional ‘Laugh Safe’ Policies can be found on their website at www.ZingerZComedyClub.com.

Zingerz Comedy Club, one of DFW's only family-friendly comedy clubs, wants to help those affected by the recent hurricanes the only way they know how... through Laughter!  Zingerz is donating all net proceeds from their show this Saturday (9/30) to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief.  In addition to inviting locals to enjoy the best in interactive clean comedy, Zingerz is also inviting all those who have been displaced by the recent hurricanes to laugh for Free this Saturday as well.  You can get tickets by visiting www.ZingerZComedyClub.com/Tickets or by calling 817-609-1715.

Zingerz Comedy Club has also stated that even after this weekend, they will continue to sell their "Comedy for a Cause" tickets at their Comedy Event Booking location inside Arlington's Gracie Lane Boutique (4720 South Cooper St., next to Chick-Fil-A) for the foreseeable future.  A large portion of every "Comedy for a Cause" ticket sold will go towards a non-profit or charitable cause (currently benefiting hurricane relief efforts) and are good for any of Zingerz' weekly Clean Improv Comedy Shows.

Zingerz Comedy Club, now located in the Arlington/Pantego area, will be showing their appreciation to those who serve this Veterans Day weekend with FREE tickets to their Clean Improv Comedy Show.  "All of us here at Zingerz Comedy have a great admiration and appreciation for those who serve and protect our freedoms", says Roy Bufis, owner of Zingerz Comedy.  "We wanted to show our appreciation by inviting all members of the military, past and present, to enjoy an evening the laughs on us."  Zingerz Comedy Club will be providing FREE ADMISSION to all Veterans and active duty Military during their Saturday 11/12/16 show (at 7pm).  Their immediate family members (spouse, kids) will also receive a Discounted admission price of $5.00 per ticket (up to 50% off regular price).  "We love making people laugh and if we can bring some joy this Veterans Day weekend to those who have sacrificed so much for us, it will be an honor to help them and their families enjoy their day."  Mr. Bufis ended by asking whoever is reading this to please help spread the word to as many Veterans and active duty Military as possible.

Zingerz Comedy Club was established in August of 2015.  Their original home stage was in Bedford, TX, where they spent their first 10 months making people laugh.  As of this past July, Zingerz moved to their current location inside the United Performing Arts Company (aka Dance United) in Pantego, TX.  This new location has allowed Zingerz Comedy Club to increase their seating capacity as well as offer movie theater style concessions during their shows.  During their time in operation, Zingerz has performed free shows for the patients/families at Cook Children's and Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospitals, raised money for last December's tornado victims and is currently collecting food for Alliance For Children to help provide Thanksgiving dinners to struggling families of abused children.
