Local dealers will share their expertise and give you a general FREE estimate of what the item is worth in the local retail market today. This is not an appraisal to be used for insurance purposes and there will be no offers to purchase items given.

Santa is Coming December 14, 2013. Circling the sky over Martin United Methodist Church.

Mid Cities families are invited to share a youngster’s wish come true – fifty years later – and "Follow The Star"  December 14 at Martin Methodist Church.

Fifty years ago, a young boy who lived on Vance Road in North Richland Hills wanted to see Santa land by helicopter. Unfortunately, due to his mother’s busy shopping schedule he missed the opportunity to witness that special event at what was then the Richland Shopping Plaza. As the years passed, he frequently told the story of missing that special visit to many people, and his desire to see Santa arrive by air.

His dream came true, five decades later as some close friends got together to grant his wish. Last year, to the delight of a number of children of all ages, Santa made a spectacular landing along with his entourage at Martin United Methodist Church in Bedford and personally greeted Pastor Jerry, that young boy from long ago.

This year the tradition will continue at Martin Methodist Church with the Follow the Star Family Christmas event on Saturday, December 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Families are invited to journey from room to room and experience the Christmas Story, with crafts snacks and more surprises.
The grand finale of the event will be the arrival of Santa and his friends by helicopter!

Family registration is requested for this free celebration, and can be made by visiting the Martin web site, or contacting Cari Vega at 817-354-9038
or cariv@martinmethodist.org.

W.C. Martin Methodist Church is located at 2621 Bedford Road, Bedford, Texas.
