STARS Theater Company teams with ONSTAGE in Bedford for a week of wild summer fun for kids.  Students ages 7-12 will spend a week on a Musical Safari with Disney’s JUNGLE BOOK.

Join us in the jungle with Disney’s THE JUNGLE BOOK KIDS.  This special adaptation for kids includes all the favorite Disney tunes from the classic film including “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wan’na Be Like You.”

With the help of Bagheera, the panther, Mowgli, the jungle boy, is on his way out of the jungle and away from the ferocious Shere Khan.   Along their journey, they meet a snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants, and – of course – Baloo the bear.  Add a band of monkeys and the jungle is just jumpin’ with junior thespians.

Camp instructors are Lu Anne Tyson, STARS Theater Company Director and Vicki Keller, STARS Theater Company Voice Instructor.  Both teachers have master’s degrees in their respective fields and are professional performers.  Students will spend their days in the jungle acting, singing and dancing.  Throw in a little costuming, makeup, and set construction and you have a full week of fun in the wild theater jungle.

STARS Theater Company presents THE EVER AFTER, January 24-25 and January 31 – February 1 at the Heritage Campus of the First United Methodist Church in Grapevine.  All performances are at 7:30 pm.

Apparently “happily ever after” isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.  Cinderella and her middle-aged 'beauty-impaired' stepsisters along with Snow White and the Evil Queen attempt to reconcile after being estranged for over 20 years.  This hysterical musical fairy tale has it all:  a rapping mirror, a prince who is turning back into a frog and even Jiminy Cricket who’s working as an occupational therapist.    Add the foot tapping score with songs like “'Beauty Impaired' and 'Dainty Do-Gooder,' and you have great family entertainment.

Kids of all ages will enjoy STARS Theater Company’s production of THE EVER AFTER.  The Heritage Campus of the First United Methodist Church in Grapevine is located at 4344 Heritage Ave., Grapevine,  76051.  For ticket information call 817-925-1430 or visit their website at www.STARSTheater.org
