STARS Theater Company presents THE BIG BAD MUSICAL, December 6-8 at Scott Hall in Bedford.  Performances are Friday & Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 3pm.

In this hilarious courtroom comedy, the notorious Big Bad Wolf is slapped with a class-action lawsuit by some of storybook land’s most famous citizens:  Little Red Riding Hood, Grandmother, The Three Little Pigs, the Shepherd, and the Boy Who Cried Wolf.  With Sydney Grimm as the commentator, the two greatest legal minds in the Enchanted Forest -the Evil Stepmother and the Fairy Godmother- clash in a trial that will be remembered forever after.

This wacky musical fairy tale is full of toe-tapping fun.  With a delightful score including the songs “He Huffed and He Puffed,” ”I Cried Wolf,” and “Have Mercy On Me”, you’ll be toe-tapping, humming along, and dancing in the aisles throughout this enchanting tale.

Heading up the cast is Big Bad himself played by Patrick Blake from Fort Worth.  The two attorneys Evil Stepmother and Fairy Godmother are played by Lucy Toller from Arlington and Kaya Bullock from Haltom City.   Judge Wise Old Man played by Fort Worth resident, David Blake, tries his best to keep the courtroom in order, but with the wacky cast of characters he has his hands full.  The other motley characters include: the Three Little Pigs played by Audrey Murphy from Burleson, Reese Hanacik from Bedford, and Rhiana Bullock from Haltom City; Little Red and her Grandmother played by Reagan Hanacik and Mary Steigerwald from Bedford and Colleyville; the Lumberjack played by Bedford resident Boyd Stephens; the Boy Who Cried Wolf and the Shepherd played by Arlington resident Gabriel Toller and Valerie Murphy from Burleson; the Wolfette played by Carmen Saenz from Bedford; and the newscaster Sidney Grimm played by Sabrina Goral from North Richland Hills.  The production is directed by Hurst resident, Lu Anne Tyson, with choreography by Sue Hurst from Grapevine and vocal direction by Paula-Beth Toller from Arlington.
