STARS Theater Company announces youth auditions for children ages 8-12. Auditions for STARS’ production of MAGICAL LAND OF OZ will be Saturday, February 6 from 9am-noon at the First United Methodist Church in Bedford, Community Building located at 2012 Shady Brook in Bedford, 76021. All interested student are encouraged to audition. Performances are scheduled for May 13-15.
L. Frank Baum’s classic story comes to life on the Bedford stage with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Wicked Witch, Glinda and of course the Wizard. All the delightful characters from this fun filled story will sing and dance their way to the Emerald City with the musical score full of upbeat songs such as “I’ve Got The Power,” and “Follow The Road.”
STARS is an educational theater and all roles will be played by young people ages 8-12. The production will be directed by Lu Anne Tyson with vocal instruction by Vicki Keller and dance instruction by Sue Hurst.
Rehearsals: 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month at First United Methodist Church in Bedford, Community Building, 2012 Shady Brook in Bedford. Tuition: $85 per month
