YOUTH Auditions for STARS’ upcoming Fall & Winter musical productions will be Saturday, August 20 at First United Methodist Church in Bedford, Community Building, 2012 Shady Brook in Bedford.
Students ages 8-12 will audition 9am-noon for FEE FI FO FUM, a comical retelling of the classic tale of Jack and the Giant. This hilarious musical is full of fun characters including Jack, the Giant, the Troll, the Princess, the golden chicken, Miss Priss the Cow, the Beanseller and more.
Students ages 13-18 will audition 12:30pm-4:30pm for JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH. The young actors will have a ball as they bring to life Road Dahl’s cast of kooky characters with James, Spiker and Sponge - his two atrocious aunts, the Magician, Grasshopper, Centipede, Lady Bug, Earthworm, Spider, and more.
All interested students ages 8-teens are encouraged to audition.
Don't miss out n the fun and join us on stage. PERFORMANCES for FEE FI FO FUM are scheduled for December 2-4. JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH performances are scheduled for January 6-8 & 13-15, 2017. Both shows are great family entertainment.
STARS is an educational theater and all roles will be played by young people. The productions will be directed by Lu Anne Tyson with vocal direction by Vicki Keller and choreography by Sue Hurst.
