Hurst, Texas – Thursday, November 9, 2017, Arts Council Northeast presents Taste of Northeast, an annual charity event, with proceeds benefiting Arts Council Northeast and its community arts programs. A bustling scene at the Nov. 9 Taste of Northeast event will greet guests with a smorgasbord of great tasting delights and a small specialty gift market. Hosted by Arts Council Northeast, proceeds from the event benefit the significant arts programs we provide to area cities such as the free MasterWorks concert series, Art on Wheels for seniors, and Summer Arts College for kids.
Taste of Northeast will be held at the Hurst Conference Center, 1601 Campus Drive in Hurst, from 5:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m. Parking is free.
Bring your appetite and your holiday shopping list! In addition to food from area restaurants, there will be gift vendors, live entertainment, a raffle for a $500 Visa card to help with your holiday shopping, wine pull, and a silent auction.
The delicious “tastes” will be provided by 25+ area restaurants, including returning favorites as well as new participants such as Nothing bundt Cakes, Martin House Brewery, Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, and Wild Acre Brewing. You’ll sample a wide variety of food from many types of cuisine, along with several types of drink to try. The bustling culinary scene will include returning favorites Abuelos, Anna’s Mexican Grill, Applebee’s, Black Walnut Cafe, Italianni's, Miguelito's, Rockfish Seafood Grill, and Texas Roadhouse, just to name a few of the fine restaurants that will serve up their signature dishes.
Taste of Northeast offers a great opportunity to shop for the holidays. Our many vendors will be offering specialty gift items that are sure to delight. Shoppers will find trendy fashions at the LuLaRoe and "You Look Beautiful" Boutique booths, lovely jewelry pieces from Solfleur Designs, one-of-a-kind gifts from Broken Branch Workshop and great shopping finds at several other vendors. We’ll offer you beautiful and unique jewelry, art, and clothing, along with gift certificates for pampering your favorite people. Shop while eating, drinking, and enjoying live music from local DFW party band - BluPrint!
Tickets and raffle tickets may be ordered online at tasteofnortheast.com - Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.* Currently, Arts Council Northeast members and Press Pass holders get a $5 discount off advance adult tickets. Promo codes are also available on Arts Council Northeast Facebook page and in the Star-Telegram for this same $5 discount off the advance adult tickets for a $20 entry. Promo codes end Tuesday, November 7th. (Discounts cannot be combined.) Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $20. This 18th annual event raises money to promote the arts and to fund art-related programs in the north Tarrant county areas. Our signature programs Art on Wheels, the MasterWorks free concert series, and Summer Arts College benefit from this charity event.
