Join Charlie Bucket’s golden adventure on his visit to the mysterious chocolate factory in STARS Theater Company’s production of WILLY WONKA. Auditions are Saturday, February 4, 12:30pm-4:30pm at the Community Building of the First United Methodist Church in Bedford. Local teenagers are encouraged to audition.
The musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastic tale features the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder including classics such as The Candyman, Pure Imagination, and I Want It Now.
All roles will be played by young people. Interested students are encouraged to audition for the entire cast of delightful characters: Willy Wonka, Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Mike Tevee, Violet Beauregarde; and of course, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa, and the entire Bucket family.
STARS is an educational theater with 23 years of experience in Northeast Tarrant County. The production will be directed by Lu Anne. Performances are scheduled in June.
Rehearsals will be 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month at the Community Building of the First United Methodist Church in Bedford, 2012 Shady Brook in Bedford. Tuition: $85 per month
