Colleyville Woman's Club Seeks Nominations of Students for Their Volunteer Work

Do you know of a student who volunteered in 2018? If so, please nominate them for recognition through CWC’s Youth Recognition Program, which is in its 24th year. Deadline for submission is February 15, 2019.

Anyone can nominate a youth. Nominees between the ages of 5 to 19 may attend any school—public, private or home schooled—and must EITHER reside or attend a school in Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Southlake or Watauga OR attend BISD, CISD, GCISD, HEB ISD or KISD. Volunteer service is not limited to those areas, however. Awards are judged in four age groups and each award may recognize several nominees.

Colleyville Woman’s Club also offers Spirit of Youth Volunteer Grants to area high school seniors based upon a 4 year history of volunteer service. Recipients in both of these programs will be honored at the organization’s Caring With Commitment Celebration.

Information about these programs, including nomination and application forms, is available on the Colleyville Woman’s Club website at c-w-c.org/youth.html. For information, contact Paula McCollough at youth@c-w-c.org or call 817.358.1805.
