Walk Through the Halls of History at The Bedford Heritage Photo Exposé

Members of the Bedford community are being invited to learn more about the history of our city, through a special photo exhibit being held at the Old Bedford School on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.

The City of Bedford is celebrating 60 years of service. Residents and staff have put together a wonderful compilation of photos that have recorded life and growth of Bedford from the 50s, 60s, 70s and Bedford in the present day.

The evening of celebrating Bedford's history will include a reception and Docent tour of the school, a film about the history of the school, and dozens of photos and pieces of memorabilia from the town's past.

Established in the late 1800s by a group of pioneers from Bedford, Tenn., Bedford was one of the earliest towns to spring up between Dallas and Fort Worth.

Here is the schedule for the exhibit on Thursday, June 27 at 6:30 p.m.

  • 6:30 p.m. — Reception and Docent tour
  • 7:00 p.m. — Film of Old Bedford School
  • 7:30 - 8:00 p.m. — Docent tour ends

There is no charge for this event and it is being sponsored by generous contributions of Alphagraphics.

Please RSVP to Rebecca Asher at 817-952-2126 or online www.BedfordHeritage.eventbrite.com
