Children's Health invites you to register to see if you’re the match that could save someone’s life.
For patients diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell and other life-threatening diseases, a bone marrow or cord blood transplant may be their best or only hope for a cure. Yet 70% of patients who need a transplant do not have a matching donor in their family. They depend on Be The Match, an international marrow donor program, to find a match to save their life.
Throughout the month of February, Children’s Health is offering two ways to join:
1. Attend the in-person registration drive at Children's Health Dallas or Plano.
Date: Monday, February 15
Time: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Locations:
- Children's Health Specialty Center Dallas - Lobby
2350 N. Stemmons Freeway
Dallas, TX 75207
- Children's Medical Center Plano - Hospital Concierge
7601 Preston Road
Plano, TX 75024
2. Can't join us in person? Register online throughout the month of February at http://join.bethematch.org/childrens.
After completing the online/form questionnaire and creating an account, order a free kit to be mailed to you. Once you receive your kit, follow the instructions to swab the inside of your cheek and return via mail (at no cost). Registration is free when using the unique Children's URL or promo code "childrens."
Children's Health encourages everyone 18 to 44 years old to register. Together, we can save more children, more daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
